Suisun Marsh Workshop! - Making Science Work for Suisun Marsh

The Bay-Delta Science Consortium, in cooperation with the California Bay-Delta Authority, was pleased to sponsor the Making Science work for Suisun Marsh Workshop! The purpose of this workshop was to help ensure that the best available science is driving research, restoration, and management decisions in Suisun Marsh.

The Bay-Delta Science Consortium is currently developing workshops that will encourage new partnerships for science and broaden the expertise involved in scientific investigations within the San Francisco Estuary and associated watersheds. The Consortium hopes to use the Suisun Marsh workshop as a template for future workshops. Some possibilities include:

  • Scientific Analysis, Methods & Results
  • Data Management & Controlled Vocabulary
  • Ecosystem Targets
  • Funding & Requests for Proposals
  • Outreach & Education
  • Policy & Science
