Consortium Membership Information

San Joaquin River Study, courtesy of Peggy Lehman, DWRThe 15 institutions that are currently members of the San Francisco Bay-Delta Science Consortium have each signed a Memorandum of Understanding to confirm their alliance with the collaborative objectives of the Consortium. As voting members, each allied institution has the privilege of steering organizational goals in an effort to better serve the San Francisco Bay-Delta community.

With membership, institutions also gain exposure to an array of collaborative information that can help them to leverage their own internal goals, qualify their staff to serve as lead investigators in Consortium-funded research, and have the ability to access the formidable host of resources shared amongst Consortium members (eg. facilities, equipment, personnel, etc.).

Membership in the San Francisco Bay-Delta Science Consortium

To become a member of the Consortium an institution must be involved with some aspect of aquatic science research, monitoring, or outreach in the San Francisco Bay-Delta region. Candidates for membership are voted into the organization by the Consortium Advisory Committee, composed of one voting representative from each member institution.
