Rio Vista Location and Involvement

The city of Rio Vista contributes to Consortium initiatives and offers a potential location to build new office and laboratory facilities for use by Consortium member organizations and visiting scientists. Rio Vista is located 48 miles southwest of Sacramento, 65 miles northeast of San Francisco, and 400 miles north of Los Angeles. Rio Vista is in Solano County, the fastest growing of the nine Bay Area Counties and the fifth fastest growing city in the State of California.
