We are uncertain when we will be issuing our next small grants solicitation due the uncertainty of when and how funds will be distributed.

The guidelines for submitting proposals to the Consortium are currently under development. In general, however, the Consortium is interested in funding only collaborative proposals; a collaborative proposal is one in which investigators from two or more organizations wish to collaborate on a unified research project.

Collaborative proposals must first obtain a recommendation for funding by going through a rigorous CALFED technical review process before they can be considered by the Consortium. The Consortium will rank proposals based on how well they meet the stringent collaborative criteria that are being developed as part of the new submittal guidelines.
